The future is NOW.  Holographic fans — often called 3D hologram fans or LED fan displays — create the illusion of floating, 3D holographic images using a clever combination of rapidly spinning LED blades and persistence of vision. 

Persistence of vision is an optical phenomenon where the human eye and brain continue to perceive an image briefly after it has disappeared from viewThis effect, sometimes called retinal persistence, occurs because the eye's retina and brain process visual stimuli for a fraction of a second, creating an illusion of continuity when presented with rapidly changing images.

I have had depression since the age of twelve.  In falling asleep most nights, I secretly hope to not wake up the next morning.  I have had many suicidal ideations, but have not directly attempted it. There are several reasons for this but the major inhibition has always been other people in my life that I love and care about. Separation and changes in life are inevitable though and ironically those same people slip away. 

I want to END my life. A statement like this usually sounds dire, but the intention is anything but. Life is an investment of both time and money. I used to share so much with those around me, but memories and devotion have become an excess of unappreciated ‘stuff’. 

New ideas and technology become disposable overnight. Innovation is allowed only to those who will pay for the privilege of a subscription.

Individuals will own nothing. 

DIY has taken on a broader meaning that covers a wide range of skill sets. DIY has been described as a "self-made-culture"; one of designing, creating, customizing and repairing items or things without any special training. DIY has grown to become a social concept with people sharing ideas, designs, techniques, methods and finished projects with one another either online or in person.

DIY can be seen as a cultural reaction in modern technological society to increasing academic specialization and economic specialization which brings people into contact with only a tiny focus area within the larger context, positioning DIY as a venue for holistic engagement. DIY ethic is the ethic of self-sufficiency through completing tasks without the aid of a paid expert. The DIY ethic promotes the idea that anyone is capable of performing a variety of tasks rather than relying on paid specialists.
